nile.guide is an independent editorial site. We have no phone line and no office open to visitors; email is the one channel we use, so that every question and correction is on record.

What we can help with
- Corrections. A ship renamed, a weekday changed, an entry fee raised, a listing that no longer exists, a broken link. Tell us the page and, if you can, the source (an operator page, a ticket, a voucher). We check it and update the page.
- Ship and operator updates. If you run or sell a ship we review, send us your published facts: cabins, itineraries, inclusions, rates and your official website. We use what can be checked. We don't accept payment for reviews, scores or placement.
- Questions about a guide. If something on a page is unclear, ask. We can't plan individual trips, but we can often point you to the guide that answers your question.
- Press and partnership enquiries. Write with the subject and what you need.
- Privacy requests. See the privacy policy for what we keep (very little) and write to the same address.
What makes a message easy to act on
- The address of the page, or its title and language.
- The exact sentence, price or name that is wrong.
- Where you saw the newer information: a link, a photo of a ticket or a timetable, or the date you sailed.
Please don't send passport details, payment details or booking passwords; we never need them.
What we cannot help with
We don't sell cruises or tours and we never take your payment. Bookings, changes, cancellations, refunds and complaints about a trip must go to the company you booked with:
- GetYourGuide, Headout or Tiqets: use the help or contact section of the platform, with your booking reference. Your contract is with the platform and the activity provider, as their terms say.
- A ship or tour operator booked directly: contact them using the details on your confirmation.
We can't see your booking, change it or chase a refund on your behalf. For how the three platforms handle cancellations, see booking platforms compared.
In an emergency in Egypt
We are not an emergency service. In Egypt, the tourist police number is 126 and the ambulance number is 123. British nationals can find consular help through the UK Foreign Office's Egypt travel advice.
