nile.guide gives information to help you plan Nile cruises and trips in Egypt. We do not sell trips. When you book, your contract is with the platform or the operator, and their terms apply.

nile.guide is an independent editorial guide to Nile cruises, tours and things to do in Egypt. It is not the official site of any ship, river line, tour operator, museum or Egyptian authority, and it is not affiliated with any of them.

Everything on the site is general information to help you plan. It is not travel, legal, medical or financial advice. For entry rules, health and safety, rely on official sources such as the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and Egypt's official visa portal, which we link where relevant.

We don't sell trips

We do not sell cruises, tours or tickets, take payments or make bookings.

  • When you click a booking link, you go to GetYourGuide, Headout or Tiqets. Any booking you make is a contract between you and that platform and/or the operator who runs the trip.
  • Their terms, cancellation rules, refund policies and customer service apply, not ours.
  • If something goes wrong with a booking, contact the platform or the operator. We cannot change, cancel or refund a booking.

Accuracy, prices and changes

We check facts against official and primary sources, such as the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities ticket shop, ship and operator websites, the Egyptian press and official travel advice. We also date the prices we show. But things change fast in Egyptian travel, often without notice:

  • Ships named on an operator's or platform's page can be swapped for "a similar ship".
  • Timetables, weekdays, itineraries and river conditions change.
  • Entry fees, visa fees and opening hours are revised by the authorities.
  • Platform prices move every day and depend on date, group size and options.

Prices on nile.guide are the "from" prices we saw on the date shown. The price, inclusions and conditions that count are the ones on the platform or operator page at the moment you book. Always check them, and check the official source for fees and entry rules, before you pay.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for operator changes, ship swaps, cancellations, delays, platform prices or availability, or for losses that result from relying on information on this site.

We earn a commission from GetYourGuide (through its partner programme) and from Headout and Tiqets (through their affiliate programmes) when you book after clicking one of our links. The price you pay is the same. Booking links are marked as sponsored. Commission never decides what we write: see our disclaimer and about us.

Our ship, boat and agency reviews and their editorial scores are our own opinion, based on the facts we could check. They are not an average of guest reviews. We do not accept payment for reviews or scores.
